Airlifting Of Nigeria’s Intending Hajj Pilgrims Begins May 25

The airlifting of the first set of intending pilgrims from Nigeria to Saudi Arabia for the 2023 Hajj would begin on May 25.

Ahead of the take off, advanced team of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has departed for Saudi Arabia to make final preparation for the arrival of the pilgrims.

The team include officials of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and medical personnel.

NAHCON Deputy Director of Training, Ibrahim Idris who led the advanced team said they would coordinate the reception of the intending pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

The team would also organizes accomodation, feeding, transportation, medical and general welfare of the intending pilgrims.

95,000 intending pilgrims from Nigeria are  to participate in the 2023 Hajj exercise.
