Governor Dapo Abiodun has assured that the ongoing Agbara-Atan-Lusada road project in ado Odo Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State would be completed.

Also, the reconstruction of the Ota-Idiroko Road and Township roads in the area would be given consideration.

The governor made the pledge while speaking during the 2023 edition of the Iganmode day celebration in Ota over the weekend.

He explained that the completion of the Lusada-Agbara Road Project Woule ensure that the local government area continues to occupy the pride of place in the country.

The Governor also assured that the reconstruction of the Ota-Abeokuta Expressway which was just handed over to his administration would soon begin.

Also, Abiodun said arrangements had been finalized for the extension of the Lagos blue rail line from Okomaiko-Agbara Industrial Hub.

He also said Ota would be one of the major areas that would enjoy an uninterrupted power supply, under the ‘light up Ogun program.

He said plans have concluded to extend the Lagos Blue Rail Line from okokomaiko to Agbara, while assuring that Ota would be one of the first few cities to benefit from uninterrupted power supply under the Light Up Ogun Project.

Prince Abiodun said that the groundbreaking of the Dry Port in Kajola and the Deep Seaport in Ogun Waterside Local Government would be performed very soon by his administration.

The governor said Ogun State would soon be number two in Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) from her current position as the number 3 in the country because of the collective resolve of his administration to continue to open up the state for investments to thrive
