Abiodun Asks Nigerians to Have Faith, Says the Country Will Rise Again

Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has asked Nigerians to have faith in the current political system, its governments, and its leaders.

Nigeria, according to the Governor, is on the verge of rising again and pleads with Nigerians to avoid acts capable of truncating the peace and unity of the country.

He also urged them to continue to be their brother’s keeper, avoid sowing the seeds of discord, or fan embers of hatred among themselves.

The Governor made the call on Monday, during the special parade/laying of wreath to mark the 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day at the arcade ground, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.

Abiodun also urged them to avoid violence or acts that do not define them as citizens of the biggest conglomerate of black people in Africa.

He commended members of the armed forces for laying down their lives for the protection of Nigeria’s territorial integrity.

The Governor asked members of the public to assist families left behind by fallen heroes because the government alone cannot meet their needs.
