Federal Government Accuses Peter Obi Of Sedition With Incitement To Uprising

Federal government has accused Labour Party’s presidential candidate, peter obi of inciting people to violence over the outcome of the February 25 presidential poll.

Information minister, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, made the accusation in Washington d.c during his official engagements with some of the global media on Aigeria’s 2023 polls.

Some of the media organizations are the voice of America, Washington post, associated press and foreign policy magazine.

According to the minister, it was wrong for peter obi who is seeking redress in court over the outcome of the 2023 polls to be inciting people to violence.

Mohammed cited the case of peter obi’s running mate, Datti Ahmed, who warned that Nigeria would end if president elect bola Tinubu is inaugurated on May 29.

The minster said the threat by Datti Ahmed is treason and a sign of desperation not expected from a democrat that peter obi claimed to be.
