2027: Isiaka Canvasses for a Shift of the State Governorship to the Ogun West

Ogun State’s former governorship candidate, Honorable Gboyega Isiaka, has canvassed for a shift of the state governorship to the Ogun West in 2027.

Isiaka, an All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain, and a member of the House of Representatives, contends that Ogun West must produce the state’s next governor in 2027, in the spirit of fairness and equity.

Isiaka made the call, while speaking to newsmen on the sideline of a church thanksgiving service, held on Sunday in Iperu Remo, to mark the affirmation of the Supreme Court on the election of Governor Dapo Abiodun in the state 2023 governorship poll.

He admitted that it would be a tough political battle for the governorship to move to Ogun West, but he was optimistic that the goal would be actualized.
