Nollywood Actor Mr. Ibu Marks His 62nd Birthday While Resting in a Hospital Bed

The widely revered and celebrated actor, John Okafor, also known as Mr. Ibu, has encountered health challenges yet again, forcing him to observe his 62nd birthday from the confines of a hospital.

Recently, a heartfelt video surfaced, capturing the poignant scene of the veteran Nollywood star, surrounded by his dear family, as he sat on the hospital bed clad in a hospital gown, visibly unwell.

The posted video on his official Instagram account depicted a touching moment where his family serenaded him with the birthday melody.

Despite his frailty, he gently mouthed the words, grasping the knife in the beautifully adorned birthday cake placed on a nearby cart.

One couldn’t help but notice the discomfort etched on his face, evident in the restless shaking of one of his legs. Another leg, noticeably swollen and in an alarming condition, spoke volumes about the battles he has had to face.

Regrettably, this isn’t the first time John Okafor has grappled with health crises within the sterile walls of a hospital room.
