Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET) has predicted moderate to heavy rainfall in Ogun state and six others in the next three days.

The other states are Ekiti, Osun, Oyo, Ondo and Taraba.

NIMET in its latest weather report issued on Wednesday, said the predicted heavy rainfall would be accompanied by strong winds, especially in the northern states.

According to the forecast, there are chances of flash floods of roads and low lying settlements, disruption of traffic, closed roads and reduced visibility.

The heavy rain is also expected in parts of Cross River, Kogi, Nasarawa, Niger states, as well as Abuja.
