According to Akindele, her mother imparted the wisdom that failures are essential for success.

My mum raised me like that. My mum will say if you do not fail if you do not fall, you cannot succeed.

So you have to keep going, she elaborated, emphasizing the enduring influence of her mother’s guidance.

Funke Akindele, a two-time divorcee, navigated her first marriage in 2012 to the prominent Oshodi-based businessman, Adeola Kehinde Oloyede.

The union faced challenges marked by reports of infidelity and abuse, ultimately culminating in its dissolution.

Subsequently, in 2016, Akindele entered into another marriage with Abdulrasheed Bello, popularly known as JJC Skillz.

The couple welcomed a set of twin boys during their marital journey, but unfortunately, their union concluded in 2020.
