Witnessing acts of kindness and generosity is always heartwarming, and recently, popular music producer Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, exemplified this spirit of compassion by contributing a total of ₦8 million to ailing Nigerians in dire need of Medical assistance through X (formally Twitter).

Don Jazzy responded to the pleas of two different Nigerians on Twitter who were seeking donations to cover their medical expenses.

The first individual was Anthonia Fakiyesi Abisola, a female footballer facing a challenging situation. She urgently required between ₦5 million and ₦6 million for her medical treatment due to an unexpected knee ligament injury.

She aimed to gather donations from 1,000 people on the platform to undergo surgery and regain her ability to play.

In an incredible display of generosity, Don Jazzy decided to provide the entire amount of ₦6 million for her surgery.

He even shared the receipt in the Twitter thread, offering his support with the heartfelt caption, “Done, get well soon.”

Furthermore, Don Jazzy extended his philanthropic efforts by donating ₦2 million to assist Ayodele Otolorin, a diabetic patient who urgently needed a limb amputation and a prosthetic.

The patient’s daughter took to Twitter to seek help for her father, sharing details about his ailment and mentioning that he had been severely unwell due to a foot ulcer.

The family had successfully raised a portion of the required ₦3 million but still needed an additional ₦2 million to cover the remaining medical expenses.

Once again, Don Jazzy came to the rescue and promptly sent the funds required, accompanied by a get-well-soon message, along with the receipt of the donation.

Don Jazzy’s compassionate actions weren’t the only instances of celebrities demonstrating their charitable spirit.

On the same day, Nigerian musician Joeboy also stepped forward with a pledge to assist as many University of Lagos (UNILAG) students as possible.

His pledge was prompted by the distressing increase in school fees faced by these students.

Joeboy went a step further by requesting that those who needed help provide their payment slips so that he could support them in covering their fees, exemplifying the power of collective goodwill in times of need.
