The airlifting of Nigeria’s intending pilgrims for the 2023 Hajj in Saudi Arabia is scheduled to take off on may 21.

The airlifting of Nigeria’s intending pilgrims for the 2023 Hajj in Saudi Arabia is scheduled to take off on may 21.

Thirteen airlines and cargo airlines are bidding to airlift pilgrims and luggages to and from the holy land during the exercise.

The airlines seeking to airlift Pilgrims include Skypower, Airmax, Aero Contractors, Arik air, Flynas, Azman air, and United Nigeria air.

Three other cargo airline have shown interest in transprting the luggages of the intending pilgrims.

Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Alhaji Zikirulahi Assan, made this known in Abuja, on Wednesday while inaugurating the aviation monitoring and aviation screening committee, and the opening of the application forms of airlines.

He gave the committee a March 7 deadline to submit their report for submission to president Buhari, for his approval.
