Two young Nigerian center forwards are on the radar of German Bundesliga Club Eintracht Frankfurt ahead of the January transfer window.

According to German sports magazine kicker, Eintracht Frankfurt want to bolster their squad with the signing of at least one striker in January and are considering moves for Kaa Gent Striker Gift Orban and Viktoria Plzen rising star Rafiu Durosinmi.

Eintracht Frankfurt remain interested in Durosinmi despite the striker recovering from a serious injury that could keep him out of action until next year.

Durosinmi put himself in the shop window prior to his spell on the sidelines, notching fifteen goal involvements (9 goals, 6 assists) in nineteen appearances across all competitions this season.

Kaa Gent are willing to let go of Orban in the winter market provided his asking price is met by an interested club.

While Orban is under contract with Gent until June 2027, Durosinmi is tied to Viktoria Plzen until June 2026.

Nigeria forward, Anthony Ujah has signed a new one-year contract with German Bundesliga 2 club, Eintracht Braunschweig.

Ujah linked up with Braunschweig last summer after severing ties with Union Berlin.

The 32-year-old impressed on his maiden campaign with the modest club despite an injury-ravaged season with Union Berlin last term.

The striker scored 10 goals and provided five assists in 29 appearances in the 2022/23 season.

Ujah, who was capped seven times by Nigeria, was elated to extend his stay at the club.

“I’m very grateful to Eintracht for giving me the opportunity to enjoy football again. The team welcomed me great from the start and always made me feel like that,” he told the club’s official website.

“To be accepted. You can’t buy the love I get from the fans and we also feel very comfortable as a family in Braunschweig. I’m really looking forward to playing another year for Eintracht and continuing to do so together with the team to work to achieve our goals.”
