Dozens Killed In Flood And Landslides in Rwanda
Landslides and floods have killed more than 50 people after heavy rains pounded western Rwanda “all along the night”, the province’s governor has told the BBC.
Governor Francois Habitegeko said. Many houses collapsed on people, the provisional number of those who have died is now 55 and there are many injured,”
He said the main roads in the province, including the new road snaking along lake Kivu, “are not usable because of landslides”.
