Yuletide: Ogun So Safe Deploys 1,000 Personnel

Ahead of the Yuletide season, the Ogun State security outfit ‘So Safe Corps’ has deployed 1,000 personnel to patrol strategic locations in the state before and during the Christmas and new year celebration.

The corps commander, Soji Ganzallo, who announced this in a statement by the agency spokesman, Assistant Commander Moruf Yusuf, said the special operation which began on Sunday would end on January 10, 2023.

He said that illegal ammunition and arms would be mopped up during the special operations.

During the operation, Ganzallo said his men would raid hideouts of criminals, especially cultists, terrorizing communities and prevent the mobilization of illegal arms to be used during the 2023 poll.

He asked members of the public to report all suspicious movement to the corps’ distress contact on 0803-468-1687, 090-6939-2064 and 0803-5479-930.
