According to the governor, the house stands dissolved at the expiration of four years, starting from the day of the first sitting.<\/p>\n

The governor in the proclamation to the House dated 5th June, noted that the dissolution, which was in accordance with the 1999 Constitution became effective at the expiration of a period of four years,<\/p>\n

commencing from the first day of the first sitting of the House.<\/p>\n

The proclamation notice states, \u201cwhereas as it is provided in subsection (1) of Section 105 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria that the House of Assembly of a State shall stand dissolved at the expiration of a period of four years, commencing from the day of the first sitting of the House.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
