Wike Warns 2023 Candidates Who Underrate Voters in Rivers

Governor Nyesom Wike has warned 2023 candidates who underrate voters in Rivers state that they will be taught a bitter political lesson.

Wike who claims he is control of politics in Rivers state said it will be difficult for any conspirator to upset the voting pattern in the state.

The governor who is at loggerheads with the PDP presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar, however said that Rivers remains a PDP state.

Wike spoke during the inauguration of Orochiri-Woruku fly over bridge project in Port Harcourt which was commissioned by Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu of Lagos state.

The governor who lost out in the PDP presidential primaries warned that voters in Rivers state will ignore 2023 candidates who feel that the state does not matter at the appropriate time.

According to him, the dynamics of contemporary politics has now dictated that people will only vote for candidates who assure them of what they will gain from his victory.
