Wike Says He Lost PDP Ticket to Gang Up By the North and South PDP Govs

Governor Nyesom Wike says he lost the PDP presidential ticket due to a gang up by the north and southern state PDP governors.

Wike says he is leaving everything to God, but contends that it is disturbing and shameful that southern state governors sold him out in a gang up during the primaries.

He also berates the northern state politicians for believing that Nigeria belongs to the region, and should remain in power forever.

The governor bared his mind on the presidential primaries at a reception organized in his honour at the Rivers state government house in Port Hacourt.

According to him, he would have disrupted the presidential primaries, when one of the aspirants, Governor Aminu Tambuwal, was allowed to speak shortly before voting began, and asked delegates to vote for Abubakar Atiku.

Wike says Tambuwal violated the guideline of the primaries, but he did not disrupt the primaries due to his love for the PDP.

He promised to work for Atiku presidency.
