Wike Renews Battles against Atiku, Asks PDP Working Committee to Suspend Him

Federal Capital Territory Minister, Nyesom Wike, has renewed his battles against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his loyalists within the party.

Wike, a former PDP presidential aspirant, asked the PDP National Working Committee to suspend Atiku, former governor Waziri Tambuwal and their supporters from the party.

The minister, a strong member of the PDP G-5 governors made the fresh call on Thursday, as Atiku indicated his decision to challenge the dismissal of his petition by presidential poll tribunal in the Supreme Court.

Wike speaking on a television programme regards the tribunal’s judgement as fair in term of practicality and technicalities.

He said the PDP lost the 2023 presidential poll due to high handedness, greed and impunity.

With the tribunal’s judgement, Wike said it is time to begin the rebuilding of the PDP with justice, equity and fairness.
