Ogun state PDP says it will not challenge the judgement of a Federal High Court which cancelled all the primaries it conducted, to elect its candidates for the 2023 polls.

A Federal High Court, sitting in Abeokuta, ruling in an application filed by aggrieved delegates on Tuesday, had ordered the PDP to conduct fresh primaries within 14 days.

The Party’s State Secretary, Bankole Akinloye, told a Rockcity correspondent, Tobi Ojeleye, that the State Executive Committee had decided it would not contest the judgement.

Akinloye says that the Party will comply with the order of the court to conduct fresh primaries within the stipulated period.

Ahead of the fresh primaries, Akinloye says the State Executive Committee would incorporate all aggrieved members of the state PDP.
