Two, Including 29 Year Old Lady Robbed With Toy Gun In Ogun

A 29 year old woman and a male teenager have been arrested while allegedly robbing a foodstuff shop at Mowe in Ogun State with toy gun.

The lady, Chioma Okafor and the teenager carried out the operation, on Friday night at Safari junction at Adesan area of the community.

Spokesman of the state police command, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said, the suspects armed with toy guns raided a foodstuff shop operated by Johnson Nwokoro.

According to him the suspects who robbed the shop owner of her daily sale were intercepted by patrols of police and the so-safe corps, who discovered the guns they were carrying were fake.

The state police commissioner, Lanre Bankole, had directed the transfer of the suspects to the state criminal investigations and intelligence department for further investigations.
