Tipper Crushes Motorcyclist To Death, Cuts Off Passenger’s Leg In Abeokuta

A lorry tipper has crushed a commercial motorcyclist to death in Abeokuta, the Ogun State Capital.

The lorry tipper which broke the skull of the motorcycle rider, gushing out his brain, also broke the legs of one of the two passengers on the motorcycle.

The second passenger managed to jump off the motorcycle before it was crushed by the lorry tipper.

The ghastly accident occurred on Monday morning, opposite the Olikoye Memorial Hospital, at Asero axis of the Abeokuta-Ibadan road, causing traffic gridlock.

The driver of the lorry tipper managed to escape to avoid being lynched by other angry motorcyclists.

Witnesses told Rockcity FM that the motorcyclist fell under the lorry tipper while attempting to manouvre between it and other vehicles during a traffic jam.

Other commercial motorcyclists attempting to go on rampage to protest the incident were dispersed by personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, who later restore peace.

The injured passenger, was rushed to the Olikoye Memorial Hospital, while the body of the motorcyclist was carried away by members of his ethnic group.
