Tinubu In Ogun Says There Is A Plot To Scuttle 2023 Polls, Predicts Its Failure

The All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, while in Abeokuta the Capital of Ogun State has siad that there is a plot to sabotage the February and March 2023 polls.

He said the prolonged petrol crisis and the uncertainty over the newly redesigned naira notes were part of the plots to scuttle the polls.

Tinubu, addressing mammoth crowd of APC supporters during the party’s presidential campaign rally in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital on Wednesday, said some forces do not want the polls to take place.

The APC candidate in a defiant tone, said the plots would fail as continued shortage and high prices of petrol as well as the scarcity of the new naira notes would not stop people from voting in the polls.

He promised to end the petrol crisis if elected, and asked Nigerians not to panic over the warning that the price of a litre of petrol may sell for N500.

Tinubu also pledge that if elected, he would create one million jobs in ICT sector within 24 months and would provide opportunities for graduates of Ogun tech hub.

Governor Dapo Abiodun who led Tinubu into the campaign venue at MKO international stadium, Abeokuta, asked Nigerians to consider the track records of Tinubu and vote for him.

An APC leader, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, asked Nigerians to vote for Tinubu to enable him to replicate his feats in Lagos at the national level.
