Three Tiers Of Government Share N902.05 Billion Revenue In November

The three tiers of government have shared revenue totaling N902.05 billion from the federation account as their statutory allocation for the month of November 2022

The revenue is higher than N736.7 billion shared in October and N825.7 billion in September.

According to communique issued at the end of the December meeting of the federation account allocation committee on Thursday, the gross statutory revenue for the month of November is N938.6 billion, higher than N622.26 billion in October.

The breakdown of the allocation shows that, the federal government received N358.5 billion, 36 states (N270.8 billion), 774 local governments (N204.1 billion), while oil producing states got N68.5 billion.

Also, revenue collection agencies received N40.6 billion, while N232.2 billion was allocated to transfers, refund and levies. The total fund in the excess crude oil account is $282.2 million.
