The Sultan Advocates Religious Tolerance Among Faiths In The North
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Saad Abubakar has enjoined people in the north to forget their differences and unite for a common bond with God and embrace religious tolerance.
He said what unites the different tribes and religion in the region is stronger than what divides them.
The top traditional ruler made the call at the closing ceremony of the National Quranic Recitation competition in Gusau.

He advocates a religious tolerance in the north, adding that no policy in the region favour one religion at the expense of another.
According to the Sultan, everyone in the north should have the liberty to practice his belief.
