The 2023 Successes of Local Governments in Ogun State Credited to Governor Abiodun’s Support

Chairman of Ikenne local government in Ogun state, Honorable Olusegun Ogunleye, has attributed the successes recorded by local governments in the state in 2023 to support from Governor Dapo Abiodun.

With the governor’s support, he said the local governments were able to deliver the dividends of democracy to the grassroots.

The chairman speaking at a prayer session organized by the Iperu Remo Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, asked indigenes of Iperu Remo at home and abroad to give maximum support to Governor Abioldun for better delivery of projects.

An All Progressive Congress (APC) leader in the area, Chief Pegba Otemolu, appreciated the Governor for his development projects across the state.

Dignitaries at the event, included the Alaperu of Iperu Remo, Oba Adeleke Bashibo, the Ebi of Idenaland, Oba Lukman Salami, the Alaregun of Iregun, Oba Adedoyin Ogunfowora, as well as, Honorable Funmi Afuwape and Chairman of the Airport Hotel, Lagos, Chief Ayotunde Lawal.

Otemolu appreciated Governor Abiodun for his commitment to the development of all parts of the state, even as he appreciated CAN for the prayer session for the governor.

The President of CAN, Pastor Ola Vincent, encouraged everyone to look unto God for their needs, just like the Israelites who called upon God when they were in captivity in Egypt.

He implored all dignitaries present to emulate the Israelites in all their doings, even as he prayed God would always answer them whenever they called on him.

Ven. Shedrack O Ajileye led the prayer session. He prayed for Prince Abiodun and Nigeria, respectively.
