Defense Headquarters (DHQ) said security forces have arrested some of the terrorists who carried out the June 5 attack on Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo in Ondo state.
They were arrested in a joint operation by security troops and other security agencies.

Irabor named those arrested as Idris Omeiza, Momoh Abubakar, Aliyu Ilopa, and Awwal Onimusi, most of which were arrested in Kogi state
The military chief however said they will not be paraded until the conclusion of the ongoing investigations.

The governor said those arrested were five and they were rounded up last week while security forces were tracking others.
The terrorists during the June 5, 2022 attack on the catholic church during a Sunday service, killed 40 worshipers and injured 74 others.
