Tension Mounts In Osun Over Appointment Of New Permanent Secretary
Tension is mounting in the Osun State Civil Service, following the appointment of 30 new permanent secretaries, three days to the end of his tenure on Sunday.
Head of the State Civil Service, Dr. Festus Oyetade announcing the appointment in a statement, said they were made to fill the existing vacancies in the state civil service.
Reacting to the appointment, governor elect Ademola Adeleke, warns that any of the coordinating directors who accept the appointment would be sacked on Monday, next week.
Adeleke’s media aide, Olawale Rasheed in a statement on Thursday, said the new permanent secretaries would be treated by the Adeleke administration as political appointees.
