Super Eagles Move Upward In FIFA Ranking

The super eagles have moved two steps up to the 30th best in the latest FIFA world ranking released on Thursday.

Nigeria have also climbed to third in Africa, behind only top-ranking Senegal and second-place morocco.

Egypt and Tunisia complete the continent’s best five national teams.

The Super Eagles previously sat 32nd in the world and 5th in Africa before Thursday’s release.

The Nigeria Football Federation has since announced the disbandment of the team’s technical crew, with Augustine Eguavoen stepping down as caretaker coach.

Brazil has overtaken Belgium as the number one team in the world, with the red devils settling for the second spot.

France follow in third while Argentina and England complete the top five globally.
