Sultan Says 2023 Polls Will Not Break Up Nigeria
The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Saad Abubakar, has dismissed fear that the 2023 polls would be make or break poll for Nigeria.
The top traditional ruler spoke on the issue on Tuesday in Abuja during the quarterly meeting of Nigeria Inter-Religious Committee.

He cautions Nigerians against playing into the hand of elements who are predicting that the forthcoming polls would decide the fate of Nigeria.
The Sultan said only God can decide the fate of a country, asking politicians and electorate to campaign peacefully, elect the candidates of their choice and leave the rest to God.
According to him, Nigerians must come together, put ethnicity and religion behind them, and face the reality of life.
