Three suspected members of an armed robbery syndicate have been arrested by the operatives of the So-safe Corps at Akute in Ogun State.

The suspects were identified as Kacha, Yusuf Mohammed and Mohammed Adamu

The Corps Commander, Soji Ganzallo, says the suspects who had been terrorizing communities in the area were picked up at Tipper Garage, Onibudo, while one member of the syndicate escaped.

Ganzallo said the four member gang had been robbing people of their belongings, until last Sunday when they were chased by a patrol team of the corps after hijacking a motorcycle at gunpoint.

According to him, after the patrol caught up with two of the suspects, two cut-to-size pistols, two live cartridges an iron bar and a set of charms were found in their possession.

The So-safe Commander says that the suspects had been handed over to the Ajuwon Police Divisional Headquarters.
