Sharia Police Arrest 19 Suspected Homos At Same Sex Wedding In Kano
The Sharia Police have arrested 19 suspected homosexuals for attending a same sex marriage ceremony in Kano State. Those arrested included fifteen females and four males.
Spokesman of the Hisbah Corp, Mallam Fagge, said the gay couple who had not yet taken their vows, managed to flee and police were searching for them. He said the organizer of the ceremony was also in the custody of Hisbah Board.

Mr Fagge told the BBC that the Corp did not intend to punish the 15 male and four female wedding guests arrested during the raid on Sunday.
Mr Fagge said that 18 people who attended a similar wedding ceremony last year had been released after signing a document that gave an “undertaking that they would change their lifestyle”.
