Seven persons have died in a fatal auto crash along Ilorin-Ogbomoso road in Kwara state.

21 others were injured in the crash which occurred 3 AM on Sunday at Otte village section of the highway.

The state sector commander of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Jonathan Owoade, said the lone accident involved a Mazda bus marked ZUR 159 X.

According to him, the tyre of the bus got punctured, leading to a loss of control of the vehicle by the driver.

He said those killed and injured in the fatal auto crash had been taken to the Ilorin general hospital in the state capital.
