Senator Daniel Says He Is Only Ogun Candidate In 2023 Polls Not Facing Litigation

Senator elect for the Ogun East senatorial district, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, says he is happy that his election in the just concluded 2023 national assembly polls is not being challenged at the polls petition tribunal.

Daniel, a former Ogun State Governor, said of all those who particiapated in the poll, only his election has not been challenged by anybody.

Daniel showed his appreciation at the second annual Asiwaju of Remo Christian Choir Festival, held at the Abraham Terbanacle in Sagamu over the weekend.

He thanked the electorate for the unprecendented support given to him, during the poll, saying it would spur him to do more in promoting causes that would add value to the people.

He appreciated diginitaries who graced the event, including former president Olusegun Obasanjo, who according to him, was visiting the church since it was established twenty years ago, in the honour of his late father, most reverend Abraham Daniel.

Also at the event were representatives of governor Rotimi Akeredolu and the ooni of ife, oba enitan ogunwusi.

The new wine essemble of Lagos, received N2 million for being the overall winner of the choir festival, while viva de chorale of Ibadan won N1 million as the first runner up, and the chamber music of the Olabisi Onabanjo University,received N700,000 for coming third.
