The APC national leader describes the attack on the train as a national disaster and a blow to all Nigerians, adding that they need to stand together against the enemy of progress and peace.

El-Rufai thanked Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for the visit, and donation of 50 million naira for the victims of the attack on the train, as well as cancelling of his seventieth birthday colloquium to honour those killed or abducted in the train.

The governor, describing Tinubu’s cancellation of the colloquium as unprecedented in the history of Nigeria, said it was a show of leadership, empathy and concern for lives and property.

El-Rufai added that Nigerians are aware of presidential ambition of Tinubu and look forward to further engage him to advance his dream.
