Ekiti state’s opposition political parties, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and the Action Democratic Congress (ADC) have rejected Saturday’s governorship poll results.
The poll was won by the ruling APC candidate, Abiodun Oyebanji.

The collation agent of the SDP candidate, Segun Oni told newsmen in Ado Ekiti on Sunday that they are heading to the polls petition tribunal, to challenge the poll results.
According to the polling agent, Owoseni Ajayi, the electoral process was marred with financial inducement.
The ADC candidate, Kemi Elebute-Halle, alleged that her agents were harassed in Oye Ekiti, Ikole Ekiti, and Ilasa Ekiti.
She also complained over vote buying, corruption, and snatching of ballot boxes during the poll.
