Saudi Restores Nigeria’s Pre-Covid 95,000 Hajj Slots

Saudi Arabia has restored the pre-covid 95,000 hajj slots to Nigeria for the 2023 Hajj. The slot is higher than 45,000 approved for the 2022 Hajj.

This was announced by Saudi officials during a virtual meeting of preparation for the 2023 Hajj with the chairman of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria, Alhaji Zikirulahi Hassan.

Deputy spokesman of the commission, Musa Ubadanwa in a statement hopes the 95,000 slots may enable many prospective Hajj Pilgrims to perform the 2022 Hajj.

Apart from the 95,000 Hajj slots, the Saudi Umrah and Hajj Ministry also removed the barrier on age limit for pilgrims, and PCR test for the 2023 Hajj.
