Robber On The Wanted List Of Benin Republic Police, Arrested In Ogun
Operatives of the So-Safe Corps of Ogun State have arrested a suspected armed robber on the wanted list of police in Benin Republic.
The suspect, Mushodi Awiagun, was arrested by the operatives of the agency during a routine patrol on Wednesday at Ayetoro in the Ipoia Local Government Area.
The Corps Commander, Soji Ganzallo, in a statement by the agency’s spokesman, assistant Commader Moruf Yusuf, said that security agencies in Beinin Republic had asked for the agency’s assistance in arresting the suspect.

The So-Safe Commander said the suspect on sighting So-Safe operatives on a routine patrol in Ayetoro, took to his heel, but was arrested after a hot chase.
During interrogation, the corps commander said the suspect confessed committing some serious crimes before fleeing to Nigeria to escape arrest.
Ganzallo said the suspect had been handed over to the Sakete Police Station in Benin Republic.
