Permanent secretary in the state agriculture ministry, Mrs. Ibironke Emopkpae, rolled out the figure at a cattle feed lot screening for 36 investors in Lagos.
She says that 98 percent of the cattle were sourced from states in the north, while the remaining are from local sources in the state.
