Police Officers Ordered To Remain In Barracks In Enugu To Escape Attacks

Police officers have been directed to keep off the roads and remain in their barracks in Enugu State until further notice.

The state police commissioner, issued the directive following the renewed attacks on police officers and the deterioration of security in the state.

The police commissioner forwarded the directive to the police area commanders, divisional police officers, heads of departments and heads of tactical units.

He warns that any officer who violated the directive would be disciplined.
