Police in kaduna has detonated an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at the Shanono axis of Rigasa in Igabi local government area.

The explosive was concealed in a bucket and placed close to a stream.

The bucket was sealed with a cello tape, which compelled people to call in the police.

Spokesman of the state police command, Jalinge Mohammed, confirmed the incident, but silent on details.

Last week, a point of sale operator was injured in explosion from an Improvised Explosive Device in the community.
