PH Refinery To Resume Production Next Month

PH Refinery To Resume Production Next Month

Federal Government has said the Port Harcourt (PH) Refinery will resume production of petroleum products before December 31, 2022.

The ongoing Dangote Refinery project in Lekki, Lagos, will also come on stream before April, 2023.

Transport Minister of State, Timipire Sylva, made this known while addressing newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja.

The minister also said Nigeria will stop importing petrol by the third quarter of 2023.

Sylva also said Nigeria’s crude oil production has risen to 1.3 million barrels daily from under one million barrels a month ago.

He predicted that Nigeria would meet its OPEC quota by April 2023.
