Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro is of the opinion that Nigeria played to instructions in the 2-1 loss to Algeria.
Algeria and Nigeria’s Super Eagles locked horns in an international friendly on Tuesday night.
Peseiro in a post match interview with NFF TV revealed that his team played according to his instruction, but could not overcome the Algerians.
Peseiro said he was sad because he does not like to lose a match, adding that his wards never deserved to lose to Algeria
Nigeria raced into an early lead in the 9th minute courtesy of a goal from Terem Moffi, but were pegged back in the 41st after Riyad Mahrez scored from the penalty spot.
The Djamel Belmadi-led side got their winner on the hour mark following a 35-yard screamer from Attal.
