Parties Wooing Ogun Labour Party, Ahead Of Saturday Governorship Poll

Labour Party in Ogun State says it is now in talks with most of the political parties in the state, ahead of the March 11 polls.

The talks, according to the party, were initiated by other parties to explore the possibility of an alliance, ahead of the polls.

The state spokesperson of the party, Tokunbo Peters, who made this known to a RockCity FM correspondent, Tobi ojeleye, on Tuesday, said Labour Party has emerged as the beautiful bride of all political parties, days to the polls.

Peters was silent on the identities of the parties approaching the Labour Party, for an alliance.

He, however, said crucial meetings and consultations are ongoing by the party to take a final decision ahead of the governorship and state house of assembly polls on Saturday.

RockCity FM gathers that the Labour Party’s governorship candidate, Kehinde Sogunle is still not on the ballot for the Saturday poll, due to a pending case in court.
