Vice president Yemi Osinbajo has picked his nomination form to contest in the 2023 presidential race on the APC platform.

Senator Kabiru Gaya collected the forms on his behalf at the APC headquarters, Abuja on Thursday.

Also, Senator Ibikunle Amosun has formally declared interest in the 2023 presidential race.

Amosun made the declaration on Thursday at Musa Yar’Adua centre, in Abuja.

The former governor told the gathering that he was mindful of the magnitude of sacrifice awaiting anyone seeking to become Nigeria’s president.

Amosun says by declaring interest in the race, he is honouring the historic call and duty to lead the national phase of collective duty.

Governor Kayode Fayemi, members of the national assembly and representatives of the first lady, Aisha Buhari were among dignitaries at the event.
