Oshiomhole Accuses Military, Other Security Agencies of Negligence of Duty

Former APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, has accused the military and other security agencies of negligence of duty following the recurrent killings by terrorists, and other criminal elements.

Oshiomhle said they owe Nigerians a duty to perform the job they are asked to do.

He stated this during the senate plenary on Saturday, while moving a motion for the summoning of the security chiefs by the senate over the Christmas massacre in some communities in plateau state.

According to him, the level killings in Plateau communities requires proper planning by the gunmen, and expressed concern that all security outfits were not aware of the unplanned attacks.

Oshiomhole said there was the need to summon the service chiefs again to explain why killings by terrorists and other criminal elements continue after assuring the national assembly that they are on top of the situation.
