One Burnt To Death In Lagos Fire Outbreak

One person has been burnt to death in a major fire outbreak which gutted a four storey building hosing the head offfice of the Providus Bank at Victoria Island in Lagos.

Eight persons, including a police officer suffered burns and injuries in the inferno on Tuesday morning.

The fire affected other buildings and set cars ablaze.

Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) says the fire was caused by explosion from a generating set of the bank while it was being fixed by maintenance crew.
