Ohaneze Ndigbo Dissociates Self From IPOB Faction Sit-At-Home Order In Lagos

The Ndigbo Apex Socio-Cultural Organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has dissociated itself from the sit-at-home directive to traders in lagos, issued by a faction of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

The IPOB faction, headed by Simon Ekpa, issued the directive

Secretary general of the Ohanaeze, Okechukwu Isiguzoro said the directive missued by Simon Ekpa was reckless, and a joke taken too far.

The organization accuses Ekpa of attempting to cause a war between Ndigbo and Yoruba after failing to stop the victory of the Labour Party in the South East region during the 2023 polls.

Ekpa, according to Ohaneze was responsible for the killing of scores of innocent souls and security operatives in the south east region.
