Ogun Traffic Managers Read Riot Act to Traffic Violators

Ogun Traffic managers read the riot act to motorists violating traffic regulations in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital, and other major towns in the state.

The major targets of the two Ogun traffic management agencies are motorists and motorcyclists violating traffic light and routes regulation.

Top officers of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement (TRACE) took the decision at a meeting held in Abeokuta.

Spokesperson of FRSC in the state, Florence Okpe, said that deputy commanders in-charge of operations of both agencies are strategizing on how to end the threat posed by traffic and route violators to other road users.

The agencies ask road users to obey traffic rules and regulations within Abeokuta and other major highways.

They warn that defaulters would be arrested and prosecuted.
