Ogun to Kick-Start PMB Estate Project

Ogun state government is in talks with a consortium of estate developers for the construction of housing units at the President Muhammadu Buhari (PMB) Housing Estate project at Kobape, near Abeokuta, the state capital.

About 400 detached and semi detached duplex units are to be built in the 500 hectares estate in the first phase of the project.

Finance commissioner, Dapo Okubadejo made this known at a meeting with the developers in Abeokuta.

According to him, 50 hectares would be utilized out of the 500 hectares earmarked for the mega housing estate project, which would be implemented under the public private arrangement.

The commissioner urges the developers to deliver world class housing units to be delivered before May 29, 2023.

He said the implementation of the project will be supervised by the finance, physical planning, urban development, housing, the bureau of land and survey, and Ogun state property investment company.
