Ogun To Demolish Houses Providing Safe Haven For Cultists
Houses providing safe haven for cultists in Ogun State are to be demolished henceforth. Governor Dapo Abiodun gave this indication over the weekend, during the 2022 Akesan day celebration held at the Apostolic Grammar School, Iperu-Remo.
The governor, reading the riot act, expressed concern over the activities of youths, going about killing themselves and harassing people across the state.

He asks parents across the state to keep tab on their children and wards, while monarchs should convene town hall meetings and discuss the issue.
According to the governor, his administration would not allow Ogun state, which is regarded as Nigeria’s most peaceful state to be disturbed by a group of youths parading themselves as cultists.
Abiodun explained that Ogun state is now a major destination of investors because of the prevailing peace in the state.
The governor also told the audience that a new 100 bed hospital is to be constructed in Iperu Remo, to cater for the health care needs of people in the area.
