Ogun Suspected Cultist on Watch-list Picked up by So-Safe Corps

A suspected cultist on the watch-list of security agencies in Ogun state has been arrested by the So-Safe Corps in Obafemi Owode axis of the state.

The suspect, Qudus Ganiy, according to the So-Safe Corps, is a top member of aiye confraternity group who is on the run.

The agency spokesman, assistant corp commander Moruf Yusuf in a statement says  the suspect was arrested on June 24 during a routine patrol of the corps operatives.

According to him, the patrol received a distress call that the suspect was threatening passersby with gun at lotto bus stop and quickly moved in and arrested him.

Yusuf says that a preliminary report indicates that he had escaped from the custody of the police divisional headquarters of the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
